Amazon kicked off its big media event on Wednesday by introducing new features for its popular Alexa voice assistant, including an option to auto delete voice recordings in an apparent attempt to address recent privacy concerns. It can also display the outdoor temperature, timers, and alarms.
The Echo Studio is going to be Amazon's most impressive speaker to date, hence the $200 price tag.
"We must continue to innovate and think of creative - and in this case, groundbreaking - ways to meet potential jobseekers on devices they are already using, like Alexa", said McDonald's chief people officer David Fairhurst.

Amazon also confirmed the Buds can also be used to access other virtual assistants - including the Google Assistant and Apple's Siri depending on your type of connected smartphone - by tapping and holding one of the Buds. The Echo Studio will be available at £189.99 ($199.99), and pre-orders open from today. It can be controlled by Alexa and can scan cooking instructions on the packaging and automatically preload settings on your oven.
We also saw Echo Glow, a multi-colour smart lamp that pairs with Alexa ($29.99), and a Smart Oven, combining a microwave, convection oven, air fryer and food warmer into one neat device.
