Bloomberg, who is skipping the early states' primaries and caucuses in favor of waiting to compete until Super Tuesday, has visited the Texas four times since launching his presidential campaign 10 weeks ago.
Raimondo was introduced by Gabe Amo, a national regional deputy director for Bloomberg, who was formerly director of public engagement and community affairs for the governor.
In an attempt to cast himself as a moderate alternative to more progressive Democratic presidential candidates, Bloomberg said his campaign is built around "common-sense plans that are workable".
A few hecklers tried to interrupt Bloomberg, but were mostly drowned out by the candidate's supporters and led outside by police.
The crowd contained a mix of supporters and Democratic voters curious about the evolving race for president.
Raimondo called Bloomberg a "friend" and someone whose advice has "made me a better governor".

He was averaging 13.9 points and 13.8 rebounds a game for the Rockets but recently has been sidelined with a heel injury. Green will waive his right to veto being included in this deal, a source told ESPN's Tim MacMahon.
Knicks president Steve Mills is leaving the team
Mills, 60, has been the Knicks' president since July 2017 and previously worked as their executive vice president since 2013. The report also noted several people had advised Ujiri against leaving the Raptors for the Knicks.

On Tuesday, Mr. Bloomberg's campaign announced a fresh list of endorsements from more than a dozen mayors around the country, as well as prominent former mayors of big cities including Houston, Tampa and Chattanooga.
Bloomberg backed Raimondo in her gubernatorial efforts in Rhode Island in 2014 and 2018. That number is below Democratic rivals Joe Biden, Sanders and Warren, but above the likes of Pete Buttigieg, Andrew Yang and Amy Klobuchar. "Meanwhile, we are taking the fight to Trump every day".
Bloomberg will be the keynote luncheon speaker today at the 60th annual convention of the Alabama Democratic Conference, the primary black caucus of the state Democratic Party.
Alluding to Mr. Bloomberg's past record of supporting invasive policing tactics, Mr. McEachin said, "He still has to answer for stop-and-frisk".
The tone of the overtures has been diplomatic, according to Democrats who have heard from the campaign, but Mr. Bloomberg's emissaries have made plain that they hope officials who are now backing Mr. Biden will move in his direction if the former vice president flags badly in the coming weeks. "There are lot of people, including Deval Patrick, including former Mayor Bloomberg, who want to do everything they can to beat Donald Trump - and they are saying we're going to jump in and leave everything on the field", said Raimondo.
